1.70ct unheated sapphire from Garbatula in Kenya. Eye clean (VS) clarity with a deep blue hue and hints of green from some angles. It measures 7.5mm X 6.3mm X 4.6mm
Our story
We are a very small scale operation producing the finest quality cut gemstones from around the world. Based in north east Scotland, we search out the best grades of rough material at the lowest price possible so that we can pass on the savings to our customers.
We also search around Scotland for rough gemstones as locally sourced material is why we do this and cutting the finest Scottish gems is our passion.
We have recently branched out into finished jewellery and aim to produce settings to match the quality of our gemstones. For the moment we only produce a few jewellery pieces so look to set the best gems we can find, whether this be the most valuable or the rarest. We hope to be able to make custom jewellery in the near future from our customers own designs.
Our history
We began our journey into the wonderful world of gemstones in 2020 during COVID and spent the next 3 years building our knowledge of gemstones, the industry and the skills required to cut the finest gems. We have since had the opportunity to work with several customers around the world having been commissioned to cut African sapphires and Australian opals. We have many very happy customers from all over the world and have cut some spectacular pieces. We look forward to growing our customer base, our knowledge, skills and inventory to give our customers the widest choice of the finest gemstones.
